Black is back in fashion, but did it ever leave?

Black, the colour that goes with everything, is flattering to wear, highlights skin tone perfectly, hides a multitude of sins and makes us look slim. Black is officially back in fashion this season.

Coco Chanel, perhaps said it best: “Women think of all colours except the absence of colour. I have said that black has it all. … [Its] beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”

In the 1920s, Coco Chanel invented the staple of women’s closets, the “Little Black Dress” (LBD).

Make your outfit more dressy or casual with the simple change of lipstick colour. A LBD can go from day (with a light pink lip stain) to-night (with a bold, deep red lip) seamlessly.

For many, black continues to be the anchor of style and a wardrobe staple… for us, it was never out of fashion.
